   I, too, have encountered the theory that our brains/bodies may just be   
   transmitters/receivers between the physical planes of existance and some   
   other dimensional existance.   
      
   While it is a legitimate theory, it stacks up the same way as anything else   
   that does not have enough evidence to support it, ie, conjecture.   
      
   It seems to be more important to build bombs and entertainment centers than   
   it does to find out these basic answers to the questions of existance.   
   Certainly there is more money in it.
