There's talk of other dimensions -- beings all around us that our physical
eyes don't have the ability to sense. Ever noticed how cats seem to stare
at something and react to something, but we can't figure out what it is?
Some are theorizing that they're seeing what we cannot -- something outside
   our visual spectrum.

So if we are incarnating over and over and over (and I hope we're not) then
perhaps we evolve to one of these beings that humans can't normally see --
except for those who have a developed third eye.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I think it's possible that things
might be in existence all around us. I wonder if the only reason we can
coexist is because they have learned to stay out of our way since we can't
see them, but they can see us. I dunno.
