   Right, self-consciousness. But soul is not the same as self-consciousness.   
   However, soul is a pre-requisite for self-consciousness. In terms of   
   semantics, of course you are free to define "soul" as self-consciousness,   
   but I think it confuses the issue, in terms of what has been already taught   
   and generally agree-upon.
