I'm familiar with Dr. Blackmore's work on NDE's as well as an article
she wrote for _Skeptical Inquirer_ about the "old hag" experience.
   Fascinating stuff.

I've seen plenty of attempts by psychics and psychic-friendly folks to
somehow debunk her findings, but the only ones that interested me were
the ones who essentially said, "Well, of COURSE there's a physical
manifestation of the spiritual experience! Doesn't mean it's not real."
