Because there's nothing to sue over. If someone offered a million dollars
for you to eat a hot dog while duct tape sealed your mouth shut, and you
failed, what grounds would you have to sue?

You mis-read me. Amused is closer to the truth.

Tell me where I've done that. I've no interest in mis-quoting you.

I'm going to have to be content with the contention that the past life
memory helped me deal with problems I had had as long as I could remember,
in the same fashion that Carol Bowman noted in her book about past life
memories. I simply cannot provide traceable details about that life.

As for what only the spirits could tell me, did you see my post in this
thread about how I learned that someone I knew had died?

You seem to enjoy reading a lot into my words that isn't there. Or maybe
you missed my statement that these are not pay-per-view events. And Usenet
is hardly a good place to go if one is looking for respect. I'm simply
offering a voice in opposition to our society's stance that such things
are always symptomatic of mental illness. In fact, that was the first
conclusion I jumped to about myself. In the long run, logic dictated
   otherwise.

Actually I haven't described very much. And somewhere along the way I
   missed your qualifications to diagnose.
