   I'm sure the doctor was perfectly aware of it.. my parents reported that   
   information to me, the doctor didn't mention it and I didn't pursue it.

   That's kinda what I was wondering, the endorphin rush (as pointed out by   
   Crowfoot as well) would explain a lot.
