   Bull appears as guardian angel

A few days ago I was driving home while taking a short cut home through the
state forest (dense woodland... with a lot of pine trees everywhere)

On the loose gravel road the back end of the station wagon started to go as
I was coming round a bend and going downhill. I thought I had it under
control with the over steering for so many metres, but when I went down the
side embankment I knew I was in trouble. That was when everything seemed
to go in slow motion, as I went through a barbed wire fence, with trees were
brushing past the car as it seemed to plow through the forest. Out of no
where there was the biggest bull you have ever seen filling the windscreen,
which I must of hit pretty hard. Next thing, I had slammed head first into
the tree. Later on, I looked at the cars battery seeing the effect of it
being rammed up and splitting the engine in two.

I think this bull saved my life. I've travelled on this road heaps of times
before (never again cept in a 4WD) and never seen any cattle on or off the
road. Hitting the bull saved me from a more forceful impact from the tree
it was standing in front off, and probably trigged the air bag at the same
time. I have walked away from this accident with just some bruising on my
chest and stomach from the seat belt. I should be dead!

When the police came, I said I was alright but please do something about the
bull, as it was quite upsetting seeing the bull try and raise itself with
one of its front legs just dangling. He couldn't put it down (after
emptying so many rounds into) and I found out later they had to call someone
   from the abattoir.

I really think this bull laid down it's life for me and that someone
definitely was looking out for me that day. I think I will pray to the God
of the Bulls (and Airbags :-), but always remember how valuable the rest of
my life will be, when it could have been so easily taken from me the other
   day.

   Cheers,
