The charge that it is all imagination comes back on them when they find that
their seemingly solid reality is imagination. This is no laughing matter,
because usually this is a very hard lesson (since one's sense of
social/physical reality is deeply ingrained from all the lives we've lived
up to that point). Usually it involves experiencing tragedies of various
kinds. I think those of us who are interested in the whole subject of death
have been through them or we wouldn't be here.
