   How do you know the 'physical reality' in which  this 'brain functioning'   
   takes place isn't itself just virtual or imaginary as seen from another   
   plane ?  Indeed, how can any reality - even the physical - be blithely   
   assumed to be the final one or 'absolute' ?   
      
   Nothing can be said to exist without a comparison being possible with   
   something else beyond it - and that includes good ol' common sense physical   
   'reality'.
