XPost: alt.paranormal, alt.paranormal.reincarnation       From: kiwi@ing.notin.aus              There is only one way to completely discredit Billy Meier's UFO photographs,       100% - and that is for someone wishing to prove this, by going to the       original sites of those photographs (which is accessible) and then using       a similar camera to Billy Meiers - that is broken the same way, it couldn't       focus on close-up objects - and then set up their models/etc that Billy       Meier supposedly did, to take those photographs, and then show the world       the results of these 'fakes'. No one has done that. Why? Because it can't       be done physically. Any attempt will obviously show that it can't be done,       and the result will be unconvincing. Egg on the face of the person who       tries doing this.              This is discussed in detail by Wendelle Stevens who was the earliest?       researcher into the Billy Meier story. He gave a retrospective account       of what happened at that time (including that MUFON report about Meier)       in a presentation that was made at a International UFO Congress in 2001,       that was videotaped. He recounts in detail about his own investigation       into Billy Meier's photographs - all of them, in precise detail.       He gives a slideshow presentation of the photographs and gives background       information about all of them.              It is not physically possible to fake the UFO photographs at those       original locations, due to the natural terrain there.       Wendelle Stevens doesn't just show the one photograph taken at that time,       but the many that were taken in sequence.              Anyway the only way to truly evaluate Billy Meier, is to do it yourself,       and go through the UFO Contact Notes, whether in text or audio tape format.       There is a great deal of information detailed, that covers many areas of       knowledge. If any part of it is shown to be false and incorrect, that will       also mean the entire information given, is highly suspect too.       There is incredible detail of information given - specific information.       No one could 'make' this up - because it will mean that details will be       wrong here and there, everywhere in the material.       This is dated around 1975 - parts as early as 1965, some in 1985.              You shouldn't read/listen to this material with your mind already made       up about it. After listening/reading it, you can try disproving the material,       if you think it is false, similarly you can verify if the material is genuine,       by seeing if the information is correct?              If you look at the original photographs, especially the high quality ones in       their natural size (100%) - it should be plainly obvious that it is not       faked - remember these were taken in 1975-1985. Note how sharp the       UFO object is, with no sign of it being suspended.              Do some research? Won't you? Some of your own, and try using that brain of       yours and do some original evaluation of your own. Instead of just relying       upon one source of information.                     Harvey                     In article |
