Could be that you have made contact with your own Essence, which in
reincarnation lore is the steady core of spirit that orchestrates the
various lives through which it explores physical life. I've read that
many people who think they're meeting Jesus, angels, etc. during NDE's
are in fact encountering their own true, powerful, perfect selves, the
core that we all pray to when we pray. If you've made that connection,
you're in good shape to make the most of this lifetime, according to
this concept, although it is always possible to simply turn your back on
it and pretend it doesn't exist (or interpret it as demons or some other
self-created, culturally conditioned balderdash), since choosing how to
deal with it is up to you (that is, present-personality-you, the mask
that your Essence is operating through in the world this time around).

You could also have opened up, during you NDE, to the spirit of someone
who cares about you and who isn't presently incarnate on the physical
plane, and who's watching out for you in the role of guardian angel.

In any case, stay open, positive, and confident, and the situation
should clarify and become a source of strength and wisdom for you. What
perverts experience to the negative and sucks the goodness out of it is
   fear.

   Just some thoughts.
