Of course, this raises the question, do you really "own" our thoughts
   and experiences?

For someone to take something from you, would require your ownership?
But I don't see where we can really claim ownership, even of our own
thoughts. Most of our thoughts are just repeated thoughts that have
been around for quite a long time. But where do new thought come
from? Most "good" ideas come from intuition, and intuition is a kind
of gift. In addition, the same new ideas tend to occur in various
places at the same time. As if we are able to tap into some
collective unconsciousness, as Jung called it.

There are so many people, that any experience that you have had,
someone else has also had a very similar experience.

I suggest that you write it down and copywrite it if you really feel
that it idea of story of a experience might sell. But I think that
the real hard work is the writing it down in a interesting manner,
not the idea or experience itself.
