Oh, ho, you are -- a Zen Buddhist! What is "Buddha mind?" Chop
wood, carry water. I was just in a bookstore browsing a book by an
American who became a Zen master who eventually decided to
be in the world by working for and with the homeless. I think it's
called "Zen Cooking", and it's about "making the best meal you can
with the ingredients at hand". I liked it a lot (and these are a group
who managed to pull together a project rehabbing a building with
the labor of homeless folks who now live in it and own it themselves,
so this is real help, not just making yourself feel good -- chopping
real wood, I guess, that you can really make a fire with to cook a
   meal).

Don'cher dare -- I'm married to one for going on forty years now,
and there's a reason for that. Although I must say, he's a lot happier
now that he's more or less retired from the law and is studying
   mediation, so . . .

Not a chance. All that's required is a sense of humor and some mutual
   respect.

   > Thanks again for sharing.

Oh, aye. Why not? We tell each other stories to try to pass around
what we've learned in the world, in hopes that others may find something
useful in that as we find something useful in what they have to tell.

You too (thunderstorms here -- that's fine, I like 'em).
