   To say that everything happens from pure chance, and the life is   
   pointless is just taking a position, the same as the former   
   "religious" positions you held.  It still could be called arrogance.   
   It's still an idea, just now it's a different idea.   
      
   Perhaps, if no one really dies, then life is just a dance or a play,   
   we end up exactly where we started.  Nothing lost and nothing gained,   
   except for the memory of the experience itself.   
   Maybe there is no point, except the point we, ourselves, give it.   
   So, if I see life as a chance to learn love and compassion, then that   
   is exactly what life is, in my case.  On the other hand, if you see   
   like as pointless, pure, chance, then that's what life will be in your   
   case.  We create our own subjective reality.
