The thing is, Paul insists that he requires an apology for wretched behavior
against him. But he's hardly unique in being on the receiving end of such
behavior, nor is he the only person who will never get one. I'm sure that
Girl B felt entirely justified in her behavior. Perhaps she is narcissistic,
and no more capable of apologising than she is of spreading her arms and
flying to the moon. If Paul gives Girl B the power to literally cripple him,
then Girl B will have that power. Or, Paul can decide for himself that Girl
B has no power over him, that he can and will move on without her apology,
which she clearly is not big enough to give....

It's Paul's choice: give Girl B power over him, or refuse to give her this
power. Make no mistake. It's his choice. Apparently he chooses to give her
power over him. But, if he does, he shouldn't expect sympathy from people
who know how harmful that must be.
