   This has some philosophical problems.  How would you ever know if it   
   is a sub-conscious projection or a real encounter with another being?   
   How could you ever really tell for sure?   
      
   Descartes wrote his famous theories on this very topic(even though he   
   made a minor mistake, it's not "I think, therefore I am", but rather,   
   "I am and I think").   
      
   Perhaps you are just a projection from my true, powerful, perfect   
   self, and I am just a projection from your true, powerful, perfect   
   self.   
      
   Or, perhaps, we are all just a projections from the consciousness of   
   God, or Brahman, or whatever we call the source of all that exists.   
   But that would be Hinduism I guess.
