|    Re: Deathbed visions?    |

From: fupkonto@hotmail.dk              I second Crowfoot - I don't believe drugs/fevers or impaired breathing       causes visions.       I have only been severely ill once - caught pneumonia when I was a young       man. The crisis lasted for a copuple of days where they weren't able to       knock the fever down, and actually my parents were expecting my death. I had       a lot of feverish dreams, but nothing that comes even near to what I       experienced when I actually died during an operation some years ago.       For me that was a turning point. I am not what would be considered a       religious person in the sense of accepting any of the large religions as the       answer. However, now I don't believe - now I know, that death is just       another entrance.       I didn't meet Jesus, my father, friends or any other family member, that I       am aware of - but I did meet some'one'. I caught a glimpse of eternity. - I       hope death comes late, but I have a great comfort in knowing, that I shall       not fear death, when it is time to die. Whether the existences I met were       there to help me into the next world or just "inhabitants", I don't know,       but I know that I was communicating with someone(s).       Actually the most discomforting about all this is, that I am normally       considered and considering myself very solidly founded in       math/physics/chemistry/biology - and this spirituality thing is really not       in place.       Yours, Leo              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
