   If the earth returned to it's pre "ice age" norms, things would be very   
   different but a huge IMPROVEMENT for humans as a species.   
      
   If we fail to end this present ice age, the glaciers will return and   
   billions are going to die. Likely, we will see one out of die people   
   die, if not more.

   While mile-tall mountains of ice wiping much of the northern hemisphere   
   clean, ending the present day "Food Belt," would be just spiffy for   
   mankind?   
      
   Under your "Worst Case Scenario," people move. We use far less energy on   
   things like staying warm when it's cold. Food production increases. But   
   if we don't end the present ice age, the glaciers will return and   
   billions will die from starvation and the cold, billions more will
