   That's a different issue entirely.   
      
   The fact is that if there are other "Intelligent" species out there,   
   the vast majority would have to be pretty primitive. Very few, precious   
   few could ever attain an age sufficient to develop deity-like powers   
   (technology). The overwhelming majority would go extinct before they   
   could ever reach that far.   
      
   Of course the real consequence to my observations would be...   
      
   If any "Intelligent" species is likely primitive, no more advanced   
   than we are, how do we find them? We can't reach them, they can't reach
