LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A man wearing an ankle monitor while out on       bond for a different crime was charged Tuesday for a series of car       break ins and thefts in St. Louis County.              Eugene Times, 18, was charged with 13 crimes including burglary,       stealing a motor vehicle and stealing credit cards in over the course       of several weeks from mid-July to early August. According to online       court documents, Times was out on bond in connection with a tampering       case in the city of St. Louis, to which he has since pleaded guilty.              According to charging documents out of St. Louis County, Times is       accused of stealing from 10 different people.              In one of the cases, Times is accused of opening an unlocked vehicle       and using the garage door opener inside the car. Police said he then       entered the home to steal the keys to a 2015 Land Rover and drive off       with the Land Rover.              In another instance, a man was letting his dog out when he heard       someone start his 2024 GMC Sierra start out in front of the house and       drive away. The man told police the truck was unlocked with the keys       inside.              Times is accused of stealing the 2015 Land Rover, 2024 GMC Sierra,       three guns and multiple credit and debit cards.              During their investigation, county police got a call from a St. Louis       Metropolitan Police Department detective who told them Times was on       electronic monitoring and appeared to be in the area of the thefts.       County police obtained the data, which they said showed Times in the       area of the thefts.              Police said fingerprints found on the home where the Land Rover was       taken also matched Times.              In all, times was charged with two counts of first-degree burglary,       three counts of stealing a firearm, three counts of stealing a motor       vehicle, three counts of stealing credit cards, one count of stealing       $750 or more and one count of first-degree property damage.              His bond was set at $125,000, cash only.              https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/crime/man-wearing-ankle-monitor-       stealing-cars-stealing-from-unlocked-cars-in-south-st-louis-county/63-       a7eddd9c-720d-4d68-878a-7a427d90c479#:~:text=Times%20is%20accused%20of%       20stealing%20the%202015%20Land%20Rover%2C%202024,the%20area%20of%20the%       20thefts.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
