   A Columbia man working as a substitute teacher was arrested   
   Thursday afternoon in Moberly for allegedly providing   
   pornography to an underage student in Monroe County.   
      
   Ty Michael Gramley, 27, was charged with one felony count of   
   possession of child pornography and two misdemeanor counts of   
   furnishing pornographic material or attempt to furnish   
   pornographic material to a minor attending Madison High School   
   in Monroe County. He was booked into the Monroe County Jail.   
      
   A Monroe County Sheriff’s investigator alleges that Gramley   
   provided pornographic videos and photos to a minor female   
   student while he was working as a substitute teacher at the   
   Madison C-3 School District between March 1 and March 29.   
   Gramley was taken into custody Tuesday.   
      
   “The case has been turned over to the authorities,” Madison C-3   
   Superintendent Shane Stocks said, adding Gramley was not an   
   employee of the school district, which contracts with the   
   Columbia Office of Kelly Services for substitute teachers.   
      
   A report from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department said that   
   Gramley is a substitute teacher in multiple school districts.   
      
   Kelly Services’ national media office did not did not   
   immediately respond to an interview request.   
      
   “I had been working with and co-investigating with the   
   Children’s Division. They alerted us to an appointment that he   
   had at the Moberly office of the Children’s Division this   
   afternoon (Thursday),” Colston said. “With the assistance of the   
   Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, we met him at the office   
   and arrested him on the active warrant.”   
      
   Monroe County deputy Joe Colston wrote in a probable cause   
   statement that he went to Madison School on March 29 following a   
   call from the principal, whom he said reported “inappropriate   
   communication between a student and a substitute teacher.”   
      
   Colston reported that the student said she had been sending and   
   receiving sexually explicit text messages, photos and videos   
   with Gramley, adding that she met Gramley while he was working   
   as a substitute teacher in the Madison school district.   
      
   ?(The female student) stated that the exchanges had been made   
   via Facebook Messenger,” wrote Colston. “Both (the student) and   
   her mother agreed to allow me to view the Facebook Messenger   
   conversation on (the student’s) cellular phone.”   
      
   “There was no indication in the conversation that I observed   
   indicating that Gramley conveyed any concern about the images he   
   was receiving,” Colston wrote.   
      
   Gramley was held in the Monroe County Jail on a $40,000 cash or   
   surety bond. He posted bond and was released. He is scheduled   
   for arraignment before Monroe County Associate Judge Michael   
   Wilson at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
