   A Wisconsin English teacher has admitted to defecating on a   
   building in a public park for more than two years, a report said.   
      
   Jeffrey Churchwell, 60, who will be retiring from Milton School   
   District in January, allegedly fessed up to littering Natureland   
   Park with poop since 2017, leaving behind his human waste and   
   used toilet paper, according to The Janesville Gazette.   
      
   His run came to an end on Oct. 8 — the same day a county worker   
   met with a sheriff’s deputy over a complaint about somebody   
   repeatedly going to the bathroom on a park building up to five   
   days a week, sometimes several times per day, the report said.   
      
   Churchwell has agreed to pay $5,705 in restitution to the Public   
   Works Department, the agency tasked with cleaning up his feces.   
   The longtime teacher is also on the hook for a $365 fine, the   
   report said, citing reports from the Walworth County Sheriff’s   
   Office.   
      
   During Churchwell’s reign, the parks department, on occasion,   
   would have to pressure wash and repaint the building.   
      
   The day Churchwell was busted, the parks worker provided the   
   deputy with surveillance footage showing the suspect in action.   
   The photos also captured a gray Chevy Malibu and parts of its   
   license plate.   
      
   Later that same day, the deputy saw the vehicle in question,   
   being driven by Churchwell, near the park and stopped him, the   
   report said.   
      
   During questioning, Churchwell allegedly admitted he knew why he   
   was being stopped when the deputy indicated the department had   
   photos of him.   
      
   It was because of “going to the bathroom,” the teacher said,   
   later clarifying he did “No. 2” by the park building without a   
   bathroom, the report said.   
      
   Churchwell also admitted he sometimes pooped in the park on his   
   way to work.   
      
   Initially, the suspect said he had been relieving himself in the   
   park since the summer, but later said it has been going on for   
   more than a year.   
      
   Churchwell also allegedly said he had done it at the park to be   
   disrespectful and for the convenience.   
      
   The following day, he sent an email to sheriff’s deputy,   
   apologizing for his misdeeds.   
      
   “I’m so disappointed in myself. I have the great opportunity to   
   teach ‘Political Rhetoric.’ … In this class, I stress the   
   importance of involved citizenship. And then there I am being a   
   lousy citizen of Walworth County. My hypocrisy now sickens me,”   
   he wrote.   
      
   The Wisconsin case is reminiscent of an occurrence out of New   
   Jersey, when a school superintendent plead guilty to defecating   
   under bleachers on Kenilworth Public Schools property.   
      
   Thomas Tramaglini, who has since left his post, was identified   
   in May 2018 as the suspect responsible for the “human feces”   
   found near Holmdel High School’s track field on a “daily basis.”
