XPost: alt.gossip.celebrities, alt.politics.democrats.d, alt.global-warming       XPost: alt.rush-limbaugh, alt.fan.rush-limbaugh       From: Keeblerdvs@sir.net              Fox News cuts away from White House spokesperson's unsubstantiated claims of       voter fraud                                   By Brian Niemietz       New York Daily News |       Nov 09, 2020 at 7:12 PM              Not even Fox News has time for the Trump administration’s ongoing and       seemingly baseless assertion that the election was rigged.              Fox host Neil Cavuto cut into his network’s broadcast of a Monday afternoon       rant from Kayleigh McEnany, the White House Press press secretary who wildly       claimed that those who oppose President Trump are “welcoming fraud and       welcoming illegal voting" without offering any proof of her allegations.              “Whoa, whoa, whoa! I just think we have to be very clear,” said Cavuto,       interrupting the broadcast. “She’s charging that the other side is ‘welcoming       fraud and welcoming illegal voting.’ Unless she has more details to back that       up, I can’t in good countenance continue showing you this.”              Cavuto is considered one of the more moderate broadcasters at Fox News, where       McEnany was once a producer.              “Maybe they do have something else to back that up, but that’s an explosive       charge to make," Cavuto said Monday afternoon. “Not so fast."       Neil Cavuto of Fox News.       Neil Cavuto of Fox News. (Richard Drew/AP)              Cavuto told viewers that he would update them if McEnany produced any facts       to support her sensational charges. That didn’t happen.              President Trump has expressed his disappointment in Cavuto’s “loser show” on       several occasions, according to the Daily Beast.              Competing right-wing cable channel OANN didn’t let McEnany’s lack of facts or       substance influence their editorial practices.              “NOT cutting away from @kayleighmcenany @GOPChairwoman RNC Press Conference,”       tweeted Trump-supporting White House reporter Chanel Rion. “Imagine that.”              Trump has pitted Fox News against OANN on several occasions when he felt the       former wasn’t being sufficiently loyal.              The off-brand OANN cable channel has also courted his support.              “President Trump recently gave a speech thanking his supporters in the media       not a single mention of One America News — one of his GREATEST supporters,”       the site tweeted, then deleted in 2019, according to Vox news. "@OANN calls       bullsh-t.”              With most of the ballots in the 2020 election counted, Democrat Joe Biden       leads the president by nearly 4.5 million votes. The president and his team       continue to cling to the idea that they’re being cheated and threatened to       take their ambiguous case to the Supreme Court.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
