   An Orange County attorney was killed Sunday morning in a Lake   
   Copeland residence, where a suspect was found hiding in the   
   backyard and was later arrested, according to Orlando Police.   
      
   William Franklin, 33, was arrested and faces charges of first   
   degree murder and burglary with a battery therein, OPD said.   
      
   Officers received a call Sunday morning in reference to a woman   
   being attacked at a home in 320 Jasmine Ave, where they found   
   Erin Hartigan, 44, dead at the scene, OPD said. OPD then entered   
   the backyard where they found Franklin hiding.   
      
   Further investigation discovered evidence supporting Franklin’s   
   involvement scattered around several blocks surrounding   
   Hartigan’s residence, which supports probable cause.   
      
   However, investigators could not establish a known link between   
   Hartigan and Franklin.   
      
   “We ask residents in the area to review their surveillance   
   cameras from back porches/backyard,” the department said.   
   Investigators are interested in any footage captured Sunday   
   between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m.
