   back to my response:   
      
   in all seriousness though.  many of us have been living under the threat of   
   nuclear war all our lives.  i was born somewhere in the middle of the cold   
   war conflict and to be honest, i am used to hearing about the disasters out   
   to get me.   
      
   as with many other issues surrounding us on  a daily basis, people get sick   
   of hearing how it only takes one push of the button and we all go up in   
   flames.  all i can say is do it, or shut up about it.  stop whining that   
   we're all going to die.  if i'm gonna die cos some prick pushes the button,   
   then i'm not gonna waste another fucking minute by hiding under a sodding   
   desk!   
      
   however, an immediate threat that i can actually do something about would be   
   child pornography and to a lesser extent, pedophaelia.  so in that sense, it   
   is a difficult situation to ignore when good people do nothing.   
      
   i find it more reassuring that people are getting feisty about a topic they   
   can do something about, then piss their lives away worrying about a bomb   
   that they have bugger all to do with.   
      
      
      
   enough of this crap, back to our scheduled programme...   
      
   is the Department of Nuking Children (DNC) really worse than NAMBLA?
