   Hi, sorry for my english....   
   Anyway, More or less this is what  Hafstadter & Co. responded to   
   Searle's Chinese Room:   
   If it's true that the man in that room cannot be said to understand   
   Chinese, we must assume thst the system composed by man + room +   
   manual does, exactly in the same way in which no one of our neuron   
   understand anything (and are not consious), but the system composed   
   bye them all (brain) does...   
   And this because they think consciuosness as an emergent quality of a   
   sysyem...
