   I have to agree, its not dead, and its as underground as it once was. We   
   can thank Hollywood for that. but with a little luck we will one day   
   have our CP back in the world of the underground again when the   
   mainstream decides something else in the new it thing. When technology   
   has another shift in its development where the rest of the world will   
   have to play catch up. But thankfully places like News groups and IRC   
   have been forgotten by the mainstream. even though we were predicting a   
   dystopia doesn't mean that there can't be a small place that is a utopia   
   for those of us that can find it.
