   From what I've heard, the Iranian Revolution was way less comparable to   
   this week than it was to the French and Russian Revolutions: moderates   
   overthrow despots and soon get overthrown themselves by the next batch of   
   despots.  The mullahs didn't overthrow the Shah, they overthrew the dudes   
   who did overthrow the Shah.
