   how many times can this be reiterated..   
      
   there was no point. it was a reaction to a period of change so rapid the   
   culture coundn't keep pace. it was never meant to be "inspiring" or   
   "visionary" it was just writers echoing the fear of the greater public,   
   cause thats what writers tend to do. and now the publics acclimated and   
   thier no longer frightened by the relentless march of progress.. the   
   constant rate of change has become normal and everyday.. its nothing to be   
   concerned about because for anyone under the age of 30 its *always been this   
   way*
