   a good sendoff, Matt. so I think I'll add my piece in below.   
      
   Hunter, you motivated me to become a writer. The piece below was written   
   in 1992, shortly after I left the clothhing industry to become a writer.   
   At that stage I knew more about fashion than writing. Hope it shows:)   
      
   The Sunday night nightmare of buyerettes in next seasons colours   
   assaulting me on Monday morning with cut-price theories based on corrupt   
   CIA politicies have receded somewhat due to the fact that Great Gonzo   
   had called out to me, doing the equivalent of hot wiring my neurological   
   synapses. "Hell", I thought, "if he can do it, so can I", so I did...
