   Are you on the internet or are you on Google? Are there hundreds of   
   millions who don't know the difference or who don't care?   
      
   Reminds me of the early 90s when MS, Apple, the sw publishers battled it   
   out in the courtrooms. MS won those battles, the significance of which   
   was vaporized by the internet a few years later. Then MS attempted to   
   leverage its browser dominance to deploy IE-specific protocols on the   
   web. This was met by Open Source(tm) and N.O.I.S.E (Netscape, Oracle,   
   IBM, Sun, & Everyone else)..."everyone else" turned out to be Google.   
      
   Google trades on 'open' and 'free' memes. I'm afraid a lot of people who   
   were gottten at by the Open Source(tm) meme would have to be   
   deprogrammed in a coffin in Cheap Hotel before they could comprehend the   
   problem of Google.
