Technically sophisticated? Elite and on the edge? Aren't we getting all
   fucking la-de-dah?

You don't like google selling off the information that people sign away,
then you make them an offer for the servers they maintain, the products
they develop, the people they employ.

Linux is free - but it has a cost. Tell me what that is, buddy, and you
have a step in the direction of the answer to google's "brass ring".

Corporations could have taken direct control of us in millions of
different ways. But I won't go on a second time about why they didn't -
I'm already late for my hunan cooking and you, nor anyone else in this
fucking universe is going to stop me. Look up my earlier post if you
give a shit and can't work it out yourself.

   Simple coding for you all though;

IF ( you can't trust where you deck )
THEN ( don't fucking do something on it that'll land you fucking time )
    ELSE ( have fun )

   And here's another.

   IF ( you don't like google )
THEN ( tell people about it, and stop using it, and stop -them- from
   using it - a harder task )
    ELSE ( have fun )

I'm familiar with the literature as well, buddies and ladies and
luddites alike. I've read Heinlein (both before and after his death),
I've read Gibson, Anderson, Pohl, Asimov, I could go on. I'm fairly
   comprehensive of science fiction.

I also go out and clock a job that rubs my nose in how the world we live
in, right here, works. Google aren't trying to take over our lives.
They're trying to stay employed. They can't if they don't get paid. They
need money, they're trying something out. It's not working, so they'll
try something else. It's called business. And look up my earlier post
about why they'll be behaving - it just takes a bit of common sense and
brain grease to put it into notice.

But to reiterate: if you don't like google, then don't just bitch in
here. There's how many in here? Not counting the spambots. Make a
computer out of spare parts. Give it to your neice, tell her about why
google = bad for her privacy. Get a cat out of a tree, then talk with
the owner about open source software.

Get a haircut, shave, shower with water, put on some normal clothes, and
surprise some people at a business cafe with some alternatives to
Microsoft. Yes, that means dressing like a suit - didn't Jesus or
Mohammad or someone say about speaking to people in the language they
understand? Worked for the catholic church - they have offices/churches
where exactly? Oh yeah. Everywhere. 500 years before the first silicon chip.

It might not work the first couple'a times - you might not have the
gusto to make your pitch shine to your neice. You might get strange
looks from the suits. But pitch it with proper conviction, and you'll
get through to -someone-, even if it's not your original target. You
can't plan where a cold will go, but spread it in public, and it'll go
   viral. Funny that.

Or not. I'm sure as crap not forcing you to actually do something on
your views. I'm sure as crap not challenging you and expecting anything
from you like acting on it. But it's out there now, nothing you can do
about it. And if you do - you're the guy I just got through to.

Anyway. I think honey chicken with bok choi + rice sounds good. Either
that or I'm going to start trying my hand at mongolian...

   Dosva.
