   Limited formats have useful applications.   
      
   Encryption can be improved by using hard-to-access formats. How would   
   you access a compressed file stored inside someone's old NES cartridge?   
   You'd have to find a NES, then hardwire it to being a peripheral for   
   your box, then start on encryption. Already lost how much time there?   
      
   Except floppies are easier to find, write to.
