   she's sitting aout 10 inches from me right now.. i still can't get into   
   the thing ..the password has somehow managed to change itself.. i can come   
   up with several possible explanations..   
      
   1. someone out there got into the box towards the end of the run for g-e   
   and changed the pass.  possibly i didn't notice because i was rarely using   
   that machine and only rebooted her once every 3-4 months   
      
   2. i changed it while another personality, one far more attached to the   
   godeater than i am, was in ascendancy and held sway over my corporeal form.   
   my memories of this have been erased.  possibly through the application of   
   sleep and alcohol.   
      
   3. the godeater herself altered the password as punishment.   
      
   of all the options i lean strongly towards 3.  my true fear is what i will find   
   on the harddrive when i finally break down and crowbar her open..
