   the ideologies in here have one tiny yet fatal flaw.  not everyone agrees.   
   this is a fundamental issue that people forget to realise.  everyone fumbles   
   around thinking that other people think similar to themselves.   
      
   it's actually a very naiive and ignorant view of others.  and most of agree   
   this is the case, yet still continue to ignore this fact in our daily lives.   
      
   first fatal flaw, not all people are basically "decent " human beings.  i   
   know many people who i have argued blue in the face with that will always   
   incist that there is a reason to kill another human being.  the reasons   
   often vary, and it seems the population will never agree on the terms.   
      
   people believe very strongly about a great many things.  most of which i   
   couldn't give a ratz arse over.  i just want to know that i am going to have   
   enough food for next week's party, and wine for the party after.   
      
   so when we listen to a post that argues people are basically all decent or   
   that we should do something to save the world from itself.  stop.  think.   
   and realise, that what you want for the world.  is not what i want.   
      
   i like capitalism.   
      
   i also like communism, but would never choose to live in a communist   
   society.   
      
   i hate weapons of any kind. yet i would use any weapon at my disposal if my   
   life were threatened.   
      
   i also hate some people passionately and would not blink an eye if they were   
   to meet untimely demises.   
      
   i do not believe that women should wear anything they do not wish to wear.   
      
   adversely, men should not be allowed to wear those stupid jeans that are 6   
   sizes too big and hang limply from their hips, unless i am allowed to pour   
   the blood of a blind cripple goat over them just for my own amusement   
   factor.   
      
   all television chat shows about ridiculous people doing stupid things should   
   be banned...unless i am allowed to throw rotten sheeps bladders at the   
   stupid ones!   
      
      
   so far, i have written many middle of the line comments on my opinions.   
   this could be said to be fairly decent thoughts to many people.  however, do   
   not pretend for one moment that wish, or intend to protest against anyone   
   who feels otherwise.   
      
   i do not want to protest.  i do not think the world is as bad as you say.   
      
   i do not care about your issues.   
      
   i do not think that giving financial aid to countries with rebel government   
   s is a good idea as the populations will continue to starve as their   
   politicians pocket the money.   
      
   i do not believe that UN food parcels are reaching some areas as i have   
   personally witnessed shopkeepers in zimbabwee selling those supplies over   
   the counter to people who aren't in need (this was years ago but i believe   
   it prolly still happens).   
      
   personally, i would not give food parcels to zimbabwee.  the people are   
   going to starve regardless.   
      
      
   i am only one person,   
      
   the reason i will never act upon anything said on the internet about   
   politics and war is simple.  it's 99% bullshit, and 1% fiction.   
      
   the number of anti american (etc) emails that i am emailed everyday that are   
   inaccurate, or complete bullshit is amazing.   
      
   believe the lies, make them up yourself... but don't ask me to be an   
   activist when you yourself don't have a clue what you are truly acting on.

   this email is a ramble at no one in particular.  i am annoyed by bits of   
   everyone's posting and have just received 4 emails telling me the americans   
   are responsible for things they had nothing to do with, and that my phone is   
   bugged by people who don't exist, and that the moon is made of cheese.   
      
   i believe the bit about the moon, but otherwise it's all tiring shit.   
      
   i'm going to leave this thread for good now.  it's not my kind of cyberpunk.
