XPost: alt.movies       From: seele@obsoNOSPAM1337.org              i donno.. i think there is going to be a mix of people who ahte it and love       it. there were so many theories as to how it could be ended and the W bros       had no way of catering to everyone (although it seems like they do add a       hodgpodge of subplots and        effects just to pacify). my biggest gripe with the movie is how they fail to       develop the story or characters any further. basically it was a giant ".. to       be continuted" conclusion than a stand alone movie. if you can get past the       "matrix" idea and look        at it as an action flick with some great special effects, well then you get       your 8 bux worth. the basic premise is much better than most blockbuster       action flicks, save the "made for hollywood" ending. hollywood tends to like       the ".. but is it?" ending        rather than (not necesarily a conclusive) solid ending which brings the movie       around. but those are just my opinions. it was ok, ok enough for me to go       see it twice (this next time is at an omnimax theatre :) )              peace out, and dont be discouraged by the reviews if you havnt seen it yet              -- seele              On Fri, 07 Nov 2003 14:51:53 GMT       rev0luti0ns |
