   Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a great movie. But I didn't hate it nearly   
   as much as it seems nearly everyone else did. I certainly don't dislike   
   it as much as every critic out there. I think they forgot that 2 and 3   
   were filmed together as one movie and failed to view it as such.

   I've always assumed that Matrix was just a comic book in movie form,   
   especially since it did involve hammy one liners and silly explanations.   
   Going from the point of view that I'm watching a Marvel comic helps put   
   aside a lot of misgivings - I expect most of the characters to be two   
   dimensional, and morpheous is very four-color.

   I never took it seriously, maybe that's why I'm not so mad at it for not   
   delivering something serious.

   Dark City was an excellent movie and ranks very high on my list of Must   
   See movies. I didn't think Kiefer was any worse in that movie than the   
   other actors personally. But then I actually don't mind his acting.
