   Oh I think that the two coexist but are not direct corralaries. All of   
   the CP authors I have met, including Cadigan, Sterling, Shirley, and   
   Rucker were all very much children of the seventies who happened to come   
   of age professionally in the eighties. Basically, you may find that they   
   would be listening to Nazareth, or Thin Lizzie instead.
