   And if the plastic surgeon rebuilds the face it isn't the same person   
   anymore ? After replacing the original bone structure with bone grafts   
   and grafting new muscle and skin into the damaged surface ?  Oh, come   
   on.... boats deserve as much integrity of identity, and continuity of   
   identity, as do humans. Even something as major as a keelectomy, and   
   replacing the damaged keep with that from a donor, shouldn't make that   
   much difference as to identity.
