XPost: alt.religion.kibology, alt.webtrance, alt.slack       From: schwann@noit!dontspamme!%webtrance.co.za#              In article <3FF89FF7.9DBF9525@comcast.net>, kali.magdalene@comcast.net       says...       > _Schwann_ wrote:                            > so,       > > for the sake of future cultural historians, let me clear some things       > > up...       >              See, the problem here is that you fail to see that this is how people       interact casually in *real life*. At least the people who really       interact and who don't engage in mindless acts of aggression for the       sake of aggression.              schwann: you only prove my point.              > Whether you are American, or not, it doesn't matter. So when you, (Julie       > The (GL)itch), ask 'me' for sense, better make sure that that's what's       > going on in your own head first,              Ah, so you're a *telepath* now?              schwann: I've never claimed to be one before, but since you persist,       yes, I've seen into a few minds in my time. Do people hate me because       I'm a telepath? Shades of X-Men. Do 'you' think telepaths should be       shunned, hunted down, exterminated? Shades of X-Men!              > Kibo hasn't replied to any of my posts since       > the 90's, so one can only delay judgement there, but, to me, it feels       > like his fire has long gone out.              No, he seems about the same as he was in the past. Maybe fewer orange       traffic cones, but you know.              schwann: :)              So you had a conversation with Glass. I know Glass. So what?              schwann: Glass had a part in the de-frocking of the Chenngang, even if       he 'was' once part of them. It was part of my lecture in '97 and       therefore doesn't necessarily reflect on the present. It did startle me       when I read my text and the word 'triviality' appeared in the first line       though. Some would call this synchronicity, but I'm (now) less       interested in the word than I once was.              I note that you're unwilling, or unable, to comment generally on what I       wrote, but without being sarcastic, that's OK as it is a big item to       digest QUICKLY.              In my initial role as cybershaman (original word), I pissed a lot of       people off on Usenet because I was beyond weird. You know, telepathy and       all that, but now we're beyond millennium psychosis so it's different.       Not that anyone here would notice...              same ole, same ole?              s              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
