   isn't it strange to think that the computer generation will have less to   
   offer the future than our predecessors. the ease with which a sentence can   
   be written and then erased has a remarkable effect on the written word. no   
   longer do we have to think carefully before we write. it can all be deleted   
   later.   
      
   and what happens if the most unbelievable mega EMP hits?? that'd be a   
   fucking hoot. we'd have plenty of books still, and i do miss the smell of   
   carbon paper.
