I do selfhost my goofy website but isn't the point of cloudflare to
protect yourself from DDoS (intentional or otherwise) events and AI
scrapers and hackers attempting to fuck around?
Hell, even using opensource blocklists I still have to deal with
countless russian/chinese/romanian (for some reason) IPs jacking up my
   resource usage.

In fact, allow me to hijack this thread and ask if anyone has an opinion
   on Anubis https://github.com/TecharoHQ/anubis
I don't want to force users to run JS, and even less so to do useless
math anytime they visist. But it seems necessary in today's internet.
