From: lambdacore@airmail.cc              The Norwegian Consumer Council recently published a report on the       enshittification of the internet.              It has a lot of examples of actual, proven things that the big tech       companies did, are doing and will do to make the internet a terrible       place to be.              There's not much new content if you're already interested in this, but       it's still quite an interesting read.              It will be fascinating to watch what happens with ChatGPT and the likes.       In the sense that social media, YouTube, email, search engines,       websites, online shops, cell phones, Windows... They've all already been       enshittified long ago. But with AI, it's a process that is currently       happening live, in real time before our eyes.                     https://storage02.forbrukerradet.no/media/2026/02/breaking-free-       athways-to-a-fair-technological-future.pdf              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
