   I am hoping that this will push for a renaissance to older protocols and   
   tech, like we're doing here on usenet.   
   There will always be a public ready to consoom the slop silicon valley   
   will shit down their throats, but for a while now there has been more   
   and more interest in "genuine" things like this group here.   
      
   As you said, most people have already outsourced most of their thinking   
   already, but I believe that those people barely did any thinking to   
   begin with.   
      
   If the Brave New World is a surface internet full of LLMs talking to   
   each other, and the next level is smaller communities with users   
   privately linking and inviting one another... am personally kinda okay   
   with that.
