   I totally understand the sentiment. It's why I wish we could go back to   
   talking by emails too. Sitting down to open a program where you take   
   your time reading then composing a reply has a certain quality that's   
   lost in today's high-speed messaging.   
   Even 4chan lost that spark since the tendency has shifted towards   
   one-line zingers and meme shitpostery. It's fun and all, but it lacks   
   the quality early forums and groups like this had.
