From: HelixPilot@pm.me              Lads,              Thought I'd drop a new topic. Its all well and good telling people to       come to alt.cyberpunk.tech but we need things to talk about once we're here.              I'm sure many of us have got home servers or home labs, so what are we       all running. What are we using our servers for.              Me personally I've got an old PC (AMD FX) running Fedora Server. Got       some fairly standard things running on it like Jellyfin and the *arr       ecosystem for moobies and tv shows.              Also slapped together two 4TB drives in a MDRAID mounted as couple of       shares for backups and storing important files.              Currently looking to get a cheap Intel GFX card to make use of its       apparently great media engine, because the current card is an ancient       Radeon R9 390X that gets rather toasty.              What we all running? What OS? Do you use containers? Doing anything       different or out of the oridinary?               >Links & resources       Cool stuff to host: https://gitlab.com/awesome-selfhosted/awesome-selfhosted       RouterOS's: https://wiki.installgentoo.com/wiki/Home_server#Custom       https://reddit.com/r/datahoarder       https://www.labgopher.com       https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/wiki/index       https://wiki.debian.org/FreedomBox/Features       List of ARM-based SBCs:       https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PGaVu0sPBEy5GgLM8N-CvHB2       ESdlfBOdQKqLziJLhQ       Low-power x86 systems:       https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LHvT2fRp7I6Hf18LcSzsNnjp       0VI-odvwZpQZKv_NCI       Cheap disks: https://shucks.top/ & https://diskprices.com/              HP              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
