   I am a webdev and every time I work on anything frontend, as much as I   
   love the design/programming side of it, using React or any framework   
   makes me want to shoot myself (or my laptop).   
      
   Backends and writing APIs is all fun and dandy, but then everyone wants   
   their browser to be their OS and you start having to write hack over   
   hack and install library over library to do things the internet was   
   never made for.   
      
   It's why Gemini is such a good idea. Just text and picture for those who   
   want to support them.   
   Nothing more. Nothing less.   
      
   Do we really need anything else?
