   You can host an NNTP server, but good luck understanding it. It's BIND   
   level of stupidity.  The official source is on the same site too...   
      
   No other servers exist. (as programs). None. I've checked; And no, the   
   proxy one isn't a server.   
      
   On top of that, you have to KNOW someone to peer. TRUSTED (if you know   
   what that means)   
      
   This is why I push things like Hotline etc. No one is in charge.   
      
   But this is the next best thing.   
      
   There is a good reason why the 88x31 buttons on my site have words...   
      
   Understand all of it, and know how to defeat the 'new way'.
