It's BIND       level of stupidity. The official source is on the same site too...              No other servers exist. (as programs). None. I've checked; And no, the       proxy one isn't a server.              On top of that, you have to KNOW someone to peer. TRUSTED (if you know       what that means)              This is why I push things like Hotline etc. No one is in charge.              But this is the next best thing.              There is a good reason why the 88x31 buttons on my site have words...              Understand all of it, and know how to defeat the 'new way'.              NO SSL. NO TLS. INDEXES! etc. etc.              Security theatre is just that, theatre. When one company owns most of       every host, the keys to the kingdom are already theirs. (who is EIG?)              If India decides to fuck us, were fucked. That's the lesson here.              Oh, AWS went down again... oops. 30%+ of internet hosts...one place--and        its all run by India. How long til India decides to rebel?              Think...uh, differntly?       --       ____________________________________________________       Posted from Classilla on Mac OS 9.2 - G4 Quicksilver       http://www.slimes.ca       gopher://sdf.org:70/1/users/slimes/       ____________________________________________________              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
