   Emacs is an endless pit depending on how you approach it. Beware! I'm   
   half-kidding, it probably is different to each person how they cope with   
   the infinite possibilities that Emacs has to offer, but many end up   
   configuring the perfect Emacs setup for the sake of itself rather than for   
   some particular purpose, which then defeats its use as a tool. Also Emacs   
   Lisp tends to be the gateway drug to more universally useful Lisps and the   
   whole parallel universe surrounding those. I don't know what I'm trying to   
   say, it's probably for the better to end my rant here. Bye.
