   Been looking around eBay for some time to find a new Macbook Pro to use   
   since I have given my gf my Air M2 for her job so she can bring it to   
   her medical visitations. I found a 2012 Macbook Pro i5 13-inch and so   
   far I am in love with it. Some upgrades I have done so far:   
      
   - Seller snapped 8GB + 4GB RAM sticks which was a very weird decision so   
   I purchased two 8GB RAM sticks. It feels a bit snappier I guess but not   
   as a turning point   
      
   - Battery needs to be replaced so I am expecting to arrive in the coming   
   weeks a brand-new battery bought on AliExpress. Reviews said it worked   
   on Macbooks like mine so I hope it's gonna be the same for this one   
      
   - Came with an 128GB SSD where macOS is installed - although I am   
   thinking about replacing it with another SSD because it's one of those   
   brandless Chinese ones which I suspect that causes sometimes the system   
   to feel laggy. There is another HDD of 512GB which I am not using since   
   I mostly use my network storage   
      
   That's for the hardware side. A bit about the system itself:   
      
   - OpenCore Legacy Patcher on version 2.4.2   
   - macOS Ventura 13.7.6 - although I will most likely downgrade to Catalina   
      
   Any recommendations on what to do next? What are your indispensables for   
   Macbooks?
